    Clapton did not compose much of the material on Journeyman himself, only collaborating on two of the twelve songs. He instead focused on performing (both on guitars and vocals) a handful of blues covers, a few more contemporary songs, and several new originals which were written by long-time collaborator Jerry Williams.

    GW Did you use the Eric Clapton Signature model on Journeyman? CLAPTON Exclusively, yeah. The only song I don’t use it on is “Hard Times,” where I used the ES to get a kind of an old studio sound, a more acoustic blues guitar tone. GW Do you currently own a Les Paul?Author: Dan Forte.
